Summary:
Eggsy goes to Hogwarts
Notes:
This is almost more of a request than an idea because I don't really know how I'd work it, not to mention trying to get Eggsy's character right
So, basically, I want teenage Eggsy winding up at Hogwarts and doing his parkour thing down the stairs and pulling off all the stuff that he normally does because he's had years of gymnastics training and practice and everybody completely flipping the fuck out cause wtf is the boy doing?!?!!? Plus, with his accent and mannerisms, he'd stick out for that alone (as most of the characters we saw in the movies seemed to be well spoken and behaved). Maybe his mom's bf finally goes a little too far and kills her and turns out she was a witch and had been more or less hiding Eggsy's abilities, or maybe she bound them, and his accidental bouts of magic took the form of protective shields or noticemenots or helping him in his physical abilities with making incredible leaps and tricky landings. With her gone, his sudden magic sends up flairs for the authorities and they show up to find an angry and scared teenanger, a crying toddler, a dead witch, and an unconscious muggle.
Once the story all comes out, nobody is quite sure what to do with him as he's had no magical education, didn't even know about magic, and he's already 15 and would have been in 5th year. Plus the way his sister is managing to stutteringly drag a stuffed animal across the room, she's going to be needing guidance as well.
Don't know if this would be after or the same time as HP, if so, don't know if I'd want the whole Voldemort mess going on (maybe Pettigrew fucks up the potion at the end of fourth year and voldie pulls a wicked witch "i'm melting" and they get a happy ending so nobody has to be stupid and everybody lives). Eggsy and his sister get brought to Hogwarts (maybe his mom was a distant relative of one of the teachers?) and he gets sorted into a House though he and his sister are staying in a separate room because like hell he's letting anybody separate them and his magic is being very particular about that. Ravenclaw perhaps? Plenty of intelligence but no desire for learning for the sake of learning. Slythern maybe? Plenty of cunning, but a little too forthright with your emotions and feelings, I think. Gryffindor? Certainly brave enough, but no...no... Incredibly loyal to those you care about, and not afraid of hard work as all your training has shown. Yes, yes, better be... "Hufflepuff!" He traumatizes half of them in the first month, cons the Slytherins out of money and treats and favors, confuses the Ravenclaws so much they wind up in a marathon study session that leaves them looking like zombies, and leaves the Gryffindors in the hospital wing as they keep trying to do the stunts he's been practicing for half his life.
They put him in with the first years since he's had no training to mixed results. Potions: "like cookin' innit? Ohhh, that's nasty, mate!" but his knife work is excellent. Charms: "Win-guard-ee-am Lev-ee-ossa? Wot kinda words are those? Why can't I just say 'float'?" at which point his feather does start floating even though he's just kind of pointing at it vaguely with his finger while he spins his wand absently with his other hand (when the story makes it back to Hermione, she about has a fit). Transfiguration: Minerva has flash backs to a young Ron Weasley as she shifts from cat to human "Bloody 'ell! Wot even?!" but then there's "so I can just turn things into whatever I fink of? Could I make a car? Oh, wot about gold?". DADA: "Ya mean I'm just supposed t' stand there and let someone try to hit me with something that will change my body? Ya mental, mate?" followed by "Well why can't I hit 'em? Can't use magic if he's unconscious"
LMAO I kinda want to see him hitting on Lucius for whatever reason (maybe while trying to pick his pockets?) and Lucius freaking the hell out about this loud, uncouth, badly dressed teenager trying to proposition him
